As you can see from the pictures, the landscaper has arrived along with 12 loads of dirt. They have started to level the yard and are getting ready for the driveway to be poured next week. The plants, grasses, ferns and walkways should start being put in place in the next two weeks. Next week we are going to go pick out the live Oak tree that will planted in the front yard that will welcome friends and family to the "Spritter" beach house (as Dan calls it). Kind of like picking out your Christmas tree, it should be great fun, with out the snow. Most of the lights inside have been put up, some of the fans and almost all of the knobs/pulls are on the cabinets. Greg said that the counter tops will be set on Wednesday, I am sure that I can't wait to see the kitchen next Thursday!!!!
Dan is starting to feel better, the effects of the last chemo, have not been as bad as the previous. He was telling Lindsay today that he had two glasses of wine last night!!! I think things are looking up. His energy is better and food is tasting pretty good.
We have only seen one picture of the new addition to our family, Lindsay and Jobe are now the proud "parents" of a Pug puppy, his name is Bubba. Sleepless in Gates, NY! While Lindsay was on vacation here in the south, when many people were on the beach reading smut, murder and maheim, Lindsay was reading, Pugs for dummies. We know they will have lots fun and memories with their new dog.
So my dear friend and friends, thank you so much for caring, worrying and calling to check up with us. We love you so very much and it gives us so much strength knowing how much you all love us. Please keep the calls, notes, emails and BLOGS coming, we
