As for the new house, Greg has still not given us a move in date, and I am learning not to ask. Things are coming along really well. Since the last blog, the granite has been set everywhere, cabinet knobs, plumbing fixtures, 80% of the lighting is in, and all of the appliances are on site. I am so excited about my new blue washer and dryer! The landscaper should arrive today to clear out some brush and get ready to start the plantings. The driveway is in and yes it curves like the Churchville one. Dan is putting the numbers and letters on the new mailbox (future address is 612 King Cotton Road, Edisto Island, SC 29438 - many houses on the Island have names and we have named ours "just Breathe") We will let you know when the address is "live".
Dan has started to feel a little better, we were able to go out during Restraunt Week in charleston. We had a wonderful romatic dinner at "Oak" right downtown on Broad and East Bay. It was great! I think that when some of you come to visit, Oak will be on the list of must dos. Then my mom, Dan and I went out to Kiahwah and ate at the Sancutary in Jasmine Poarch, just wonderful. He enjoyed a glass of white wine last night with dinner (my measure of how well he is feeling). Chemo is next Wednesday. The time we spend at the Chemo center has become much shorter now that he receives two chemo drugs now and not three. Again we can not say enough about the treatment he recieves and care that is given. We are so thankful to be in Charleston with the health providers we have found here.
We thing of you all so often and know that you are reading and watching the blog, but please let us know how you are doing, we care about your worlds as well.
