What a week it was at the house. As you see in one of the pictures, Stefanie is standing on a rock that many of you have stood on. From those of you who visited Honeoye Lake and stepped on to the dock, to those that stepped onto the pool deck in Churchville this rock is our link. When my mom sold the house on Honeoye Lake, we move the "dock" rock to the Churchville house. When we sold the Churchville house, Stefanie moved the rock to Connecticut into her storage unit and then moved it to Charleston, where it has stayed on her patio until it found it's new home this week at 612 King Cotton Road! What a great moment it was!!! I look forward to seeing all of you step on it again.
Dan was joking that he was going to "blog" about peeing in the new house, but I beat him to it, l and iterally So TMI! Truly it is my pleasure to tell you that the toilets flush, the faucets flow and the garage disposals grind and the shower in the master bedroom sprays a lot! Just ask Stefanie if you get a chance. My mom watched the placement of the palmetto palms while Dan and Greg talked about everything else that has to be done. I took the pictures.
As for Dan, he is feeling pretty well this week and enjoyed a great Zweigle on the grill tonight. We are hoping that if we pick up the diapers this week Derek and Carrie will have room to bring down a few more, or Fred and Cindy will have to plan another trip and bring a few more pounds. Perhaps Jack will eat shrimp and grits or just the grits and a great hot dog, that will be the night we get to babysit. I know that Grandpa and Mimi are going to have a great time hugging Jack. Great Grandy and Auntie Stefanie and Auntie Julie can't wait to get their hands on him too!
We look forward from hearing for all of you, just blog us back, or call or e-mail - we love hearing from everyone.
