Thought that I would spend a few minutes with you all from the Chemo room, and give you an idea of the view out the window. The skies are bright blue and the patio has beautiful waterfalls and these interesting metal birds on tall posts that move like they are in flight. There are large planters with ferns and plants and the live Oaks surround the property. It is really a pretty view. We met with Dr. Ellison this morning and he again is very pleased with Dan's progress and response to his treatment. His blood counts are very good and he remains at the same weight - all of this good news. This is round 5 of treatment. Our favorite nurse Sue is not here today - however, Dan is still in great hands.
The house is doing great!!!! Can't believe that we have drywall up, it really is starting to look like a real house now. We have been busy making sure that Greg has all the selections that he needs to keep moving along. I needed to finish picking out colors for the inside - did you know how many whites there are? Dan is still choosing the material for the hardwoods and is working out the staircase components (he is hearing Greg whispering in his ear). I feel sorry for his wife Betsy, the man is always right!!!!
We hope you are all well and enjoying good weather and wonderful time with family and friends. Please remember to take a minute and hug a loved one, and pass on a smile to someone you don't know. If you get a minute BLOG us back - we would love to hear from you.
